Living with a disability is no easy task. The needs of disabled individuals may fluctuate throughout their lifespan and may involve emotional, social, and financial issues. Depending on the mental or physical limitations experienced by a person, seemingly simple tasks such as eating a meal or some simple task can become difficult or even impossible. Relationships may also be affected.
Here Silent Hands Support try to make their life easy by providing accommodations or tools designed to increase independence and bridge the gap for those with disabilities. A wheelchair is an example of an accommodation for a physical disability. A disabled person with the wheelchair can get more chances to interact with friends and family, and thus to remove tension and dissatisfaction. SHS never leave a single scope to put smile on the poor faces.
In reality, it is impossible to see your family members crying for food and you cannot do anything for them with disability. This harsh reality can be felt very well only by the victims. Those people are needed for our help. Dedicating our whole life for the betterment of those physically handicapped people will not be enough to solve this problem. Because, there are currently more than two billion disabled people around the world.
We also provide support people according to the need. There are many cases around us where the scenario is completely different and require customized support. We, Silent Hands Support, are always keen to meet all the challenges such as supporting mental health related issues, financial support and many more.
Access to healthcare is a fundamental human right, but is not yet available to many of the poor in the remote areas. Silent Hands Support realizes the need of healthcare for the marginalised communities, despite the difficult environment. We aim to support people who are in a vulnerable situation who's lives are saved or changed. This is one of our regular program where we reach to the people directly with their daily health issues. Our doctors try to help, recommend or solve the issue they are facing for a long.
Eid Food Pack | Qurban | Fitra |
One Meal Project | Ramadan Food Pack | Upcomming |
Ramadan is one of the valuable event in the life of Muslims and it is being celebrated by all religious Muslims. The Ramadan for a poor groups of Muslims is tougher than anything else; cause fasting without proper Suhor and Iftar is merely impossible. Silent Hands Support donate a special food pack during the holy month of Ramada and Eid occasions. The contribution from our donors are always special to us and help us share food with families who regularly go hungry. The situation is more complicated after Corona pandemic that directs even more people are at risk of hunger and disease. We believe every penny counts and every single contribution add extra value to the support of the people who are poor and helpless.
Qurbani is Muslim ritual sacrifice of an animal as an act of worship of the only God, the Sole Creator of all being. Muslims offer it at the completion of the Hajj pilgrimage which is Islam’s Fifth Pillar of worship. The word Qurbani itself means ‘sacrifice’ and it serves as a strong reminder of sacrifice. The animals that are subject to sacrifice are cared for and looked after and seen as valuable and important assets.
The act is a symbolization of equality amongst all Muslims. The meat from the sacrificed animal is divided into three equal parts; one part for yourself, one for close members of your family and one for those in need. This lesson of Qurbani teaches us to share love and respect among others.
The sacrifice, like so many acts of Ibadat, also encourages social unity. By sharing a part of your Qurbani with those in need, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, you are sharing your blessings and promoting unity and harmony between all human beings. We, Silent Hands Support, believe the poverty can be dramatically decreased by sharing our love and our wealth – that Islam teaches us through Qurbani. Our intension is not only to perform Qurbani but also to reach real needy poor people. There are many areas where people cannot afford Qurbani expenses as well as do not get the shares of Qurbani where we want to reach; so that we can truly bring smiles to the poor faces.
We also manage Fitra fund on behalf of our donors where we work as a bridge between the donors and helpless people. Fitra is one of the very important obligatory charity where the Muslims have to give after the sighting of the Eid moon. It is obligatory on every family. Fitra or Sadaqatul Fitr is the compulsory sadaqa which has to be given to the helpless, poor and needy before the Eid prayers. , poor and needy before the Eid prayers. Silent Hands Support team works with integrity so that right people receives the right amount of Fitra.
The “One Meal Project” of Silent Hands Support Society is a food donation project that aims to feed the hungry, destitute, and poor souls living under the poverty line so that we may help change these people’s lives for a better tomorrow. “Friday for Kids” is our other regular program which is made for the underprivileged kids in the street or slums. On the other hand, innumerable meal projects are made for poor people who can't manage their food. We, from Silent Hands Support Society, aim to provide substantial and meaningful assistance to people who face difficulties in their life. Individually, we may not be able to change the world by donating this food but we may be able to help people substantially on an individual or community level.

Pandemic | Storm | Flood |
Missing even one day of work can lead to extreme coping strategies like skipping meals, cutting down on medical care, or selling assets.COVID-19 is a wake-up call for the world to build a new and more effective mechanism for food security for poor and disadvantaged people so that it is equipped enough to address the challenges of the twenty-first century. This pandemic teaches us many thing as well as it is still suffering us a lot, especially for the people who lives in congested areas in the world. Silent Hands Support team is in the crisis area from the beginning of the lock-down with our projects to support communities. To meet the emergency situation and reduce the impact, SHS donated food and grocery items to individual as well as supported many families. We only try to ensure food for the people in real need. There are uncountable families who earns daily to meet their food need.
Silent Hands Support try to be with the people in need who are in a vulnerable situation. The world is facing huge calamities and the number of victimized people are just increasing every day. People are losing livelihoods, land and shelters due to natural tragedies like flood, storms and bushfires. People who were already living in poverty are suffering the most.
Silent Hands Support will continue our effort to expand the scope of relief, and the team will do everything possible to make sure the provided support of our donors reaches those who need it the most.

Clean Water | Shelter | Rising Star |
Employment | Zakat | Upcomming |
Water is such an essential element in our regular activity that connects every aspect of our life. It is not only important for human being but also important for other living animals and even for nature. Pure water plays the most vital role in our regular activities. Access to safe water and sanitation can quickly turn problems into potential solutions such as empowering people with time for school and work, and contributing to improved health for women, children, and families around the world.
We can undoubtedly say that there’s nothing more essential to life on Earth than water. In every part of the world, from megacities to rural areas, from Cape Town to sub-Saharan Africa, there’s a water crisis which is globally recognized. It has also been recognized by many world leaders several times and global organizations including United Nations. People are struggling to access the quantity and quality of water they need for drinking, cooking, bathing, handwashing, and growing their food.
Silent Hands Support echo with the findings that are already noticed all over the world and keen to work on those issues. We may not be able to solve all the issues but we are sure that our small steps can lead big changes. We noticed access to clean water can bring many changes; it’s a stepping-stone to the highway of development. When people gain access to clean water, they are better able to practice good hygiene and sanitation. Children can enjoy good health and are more likely to attend school. Parents can put aside their worries about water-related diseases. Instead, people can water crops and livestock and diversify their incomes as well. We intend to support our poor people who are really struggling to manage safe and clean water.
House or shelter is one of the basic rights of human being and there are many people who are homeless around us. These people lives a hard life. The dramatic increase in world’s population has been one of the main reasons for this shelter problem. The most populous countries lie in Asia; the consistent increasing population in these regions gave rise to an extreme poverty. Poverty is the main hurdle. Poverty and homelessness have an intertwined relationship; circumstances of poverty — such as debt, lack of education, poor mental and physical health and disability — are underlying causes of homelessness.
Poor can’t construct shelter at first site and even if could construct a shelter, it would not be strong enough to prevent different natural disasters like flood, earth quake or any other. Silent Hand Support try to help people who do not have home to stay and lead a vulnerable life. Our intention is not only to make home for them but to ensure their easy life. With the help of our respected donors and sponsors we provide house, clean water facilities and safe sanitations by our Shelter Project – called Khanikaloy.
Rising star is one of our regular programs under our Life Changing Platform where we aim to change their status of the life by providing education, accommodation and other basic needs. We aim to provide support to the poor children and orphans with as much care as if they were our own children. Our Rising Star program ensures that the most vulnerable of youngsters – orphans and disabled children – have the security and stability that every child deserves. Not only are their daily needs met but they have the opportunities for their self-development. We, Silent Hands Support, are trying to make a difference by sponsoring an orphan or disabled child, our supporters are making a significant difference in the lives of those children, their families and, by extension, their communities.
The unemployment problem is a hard nut to crack not only in any specific region but it is now an alarming issue all over the world. Most of the country faces the increase of unemployment rate every year which gives rise to the problem of poverty. Because, the world's job market is very limited compared to plenty of job seekers, it is more critical in Asian region. Every year new graduates are joining in the job queue as job opportunities are not being created at the rate at which students are leaving every year.
Unemployment has costs to a society that are more than just financial. Unemployed individuals not only lose income but also face challenges to their physical and mental health. Societal costs of high unemployment include higher crime and a reduced rate of volunteerism. It is one of the most important social issues faced by all developed and developing countries.
It is enormously critical for the disabled people. Persons with disabilities often face unemployment which leads poverty, especially those who are physically weak for their age or lack of proper education. Therefore, SHS has taken an amazing project for them.
Zakat is an important system of Islamic ideology therefore it plays an active role in spiritual and social life of Muslim society. Zakat is important because it benefits not only the individual, but also the recipient and society at large. The power of Zakat cannot be underestimated. It's an incredible institution intended to transform society.
Zakat, therefore, is unlike charity that is given to the needy voluntarily. Withholding Zakat is considered depriving the poor of their due share. Thus one who pays Zakat actually “purifies” his wealth by separating portion that belongs to the poor. Many times people faces difficulties in managing their own Zakat which means the fund do no reach to the proper target group of the society, here we, Silent Hands Support work as a bridge between the two parties. We collect the fund and distribute to the real vulnerable people in the society according to the wish of the donors.
Sponsoring Orphanage | Elderly Allowance | Sponsor Child |
The Quran is the central religious text of Islam which is widely read among Muslims. It represents the fountainhead of divine guidance for every Muslim. This Islamic holy book is considered as the words of God and was dictated to Muhammad (SAW), the prophet of Islam. Thy Holy Quran is written down in Arabic and has 6666 lines under 30 chapters. The chapters in this book touch upon all aspects of human existence, including matters of doctrine, social organization, and legislation. It will continue to guide those who turn to God with a sincere heart, for all times. In Islam, there are some scholars who memorize the whole Quran for prayers and to satisfy Allah, and Silent Hands Support try to help these people from the heart:
We have operated several projects in many orphanages where children learn the Holy Quran. These orphanages are mostly in the remote area of the country where they always struggle with many issues such as food, drinking water, clothing and even sometimes medical treatments.
In this semi-automated life everyone is just extremely busy with their life and very less time in hand. From our regular life experience we closely observed, an elder always faces financial crisis in their old age which is more critical in poor and under developed countries. Elderly allowance is one of our regular activity for old and poor people in the society. You also can donate in our projects for regular support for our elders.
There are many children around us leave school without a basic education due to the poverty. Silent Hands Supports feel the strong desire to make a difference in the society by providing sponsorship to a single child or a group of children for their education, food, clothing or treatment issue. Many children are forced to drop out of school early due to many reasons, as their parents are unable to afford costs, or they are required to work to supplement the family’s income or they are obligated to manage their food. These scenario are more crucial in Asian and African countries where there are hurdles in meeting basic needs.
Our sponsored children are given the opportunity to meet their basic needs such as complete their schooling. As we fight against poverty and we strongly realize education is crucial to combating poverty. We aim to ensure these children receive a good education which is a sustainable and long term approach to building their better future. Education means more opportunities and the chance to break free from the cycle of poverty.
Our sponsors and donors feel a strong desire to make a difference in the world as the way SHS thinks. We work as a bridge and monitor the improvement of sponsored child on behalf of the donors. Child sponsorship is the ideal solution for them we do not get enough scope to go to the door of the poor. We are trying to make a small difference in developing communities by our effort(s):
Cloth Distribution | Winter Appeal | Orphanage |
Training Institute | Society School | Old Age Home |

This problem can be solved by providing a single pair of new dresses to the children. Till this second year of our anniversary, a total of 4154 people get benefit from our clothes project. We have seen smile on their faces with this new dresses. Children, women and elderly people feel happy and it also improves their confidence in other aspects. It is a small initiates by SHS but carry a big message to the society to share love. There are many poor and helpless people in world who cannot afford to buy warm clothes even for winter or for Eid occasions. During both the winter and eid season, we, on behalf of Silent Hands Support, have taken initiatives to distribute clothes among the unprivileged area to reduce suffering and share love. This initiative might not mitigate all their problems but may remit their sufferings to a little extent and create the scope to enjoy.

Of all Muslim institutions around the world, the mosque is the most important and holy place for the public expression of Islamic religiosity. The Mosque is the house of prayer in the Islamic faith which is symbolically very important to Muslims for the point of Islamic intellectual activities. It is not only a place of Muslim worship, but also a place to gain knowledge. It is not only a place for communal gathering of the Islamic community members, but also a place for holding various religious ceremonies and rituals, such as wedding and funeral. Mosques are also places where religious studies take place, and where the younger generation of Muslim children would go for their religious education.
In simple words, mosque is a place for prayers, a center for practicing Islamic knowledge, a place for discussing Islamic issues and running Islamic activities that involve all level of public. There is no difference between rich and poor.
Mosques which are classified as non-profit organizations, deal with public funds received from government, corporate and public donations. Silent Hands Support noticed there are many mosque in rural areas where government and corporate donations do not reach properly. These mosques and madrasa are basically run by the small donations from poor villagers where there is always a need. From our visits to these mosques and madrasa in remote area we, Silent Hands Support, found many issues such as scarcity of clean water for ablution, lack of prayer mat, shortage of ceiling fan, sound system and many others. Here we want to keep our focus so that we can reach out more and more people.
Society Technical Training Center – STTC is the vocational institution in Bangladesh which is completely sponsored by our respected donors and sponsors. As an institution, STTC recognizes her pivotal role in helping the nation achieve her development goals and indeed be globally competitive, industrialized and prospes. To this end STTC has endeavored to continuously provide competence based education and training in technical and business disciplines, providing knowledge, skills and attitudes required to steer the country towards achieving our vision and meeting the Sustainable Development Goals. Keeping all these commercial in back of the mind we truly aim to support more needy people who are helpless and destitute.
With an aim to provide education to underprivileged children, Silent Hands Support is planning to initiate it’s another journey which a Society School, where underprivileged children and students will get an opportunity to have their education in an internationally accepted curriculum. Education is the primary source for children to keep their life in safe way. We will also provide education material to the poor children. Still in many areas in the world poor people are unable to provide quality of education to their children. We strongly believe that un-education or illiteracy may cause lack of knowledge and unemployment which is the ultimate reason of many unrest in the society. Our School project will help to provide basic education without any interruption. Poor people can study their children without any financial struggles. Hence every one able to go for school. This project will help to develop children with proper manner and education. In future we aim to see all students of our school are employed.
World’s population is increasing every day and gradually ageing as well. Silent Hands Support believe that later life can, and should be, the best years of your life. But it is always complicated for the people who are living in the third world countries. It is quite different from the developed countries. Maintaining nutrition, arranging home, cloths and treatment is a big challenge for the old people in third world countries. Even, people of this age are many times neglected at home as well. So providing good elderly care becomes increasingly important in any society.
In our old age home, we will ensure an environment where helpless and poor can stay like a family; at the same time we will make sure their required support so that they can lead a happy life. Moving to this stage of life, we aim to offer truly independent lifestyles in our old age home, set in beautiful and secure environments, with an array of facilities and amenities, where everything is taken care of.
